Do you ship to my country?
I use Sendle and Australia Post to ship physical products. If you don't see your country listed when you checkout, just reach out to me and I'll get you a custom quote. That's not a problem at all.
When will my order Ship?
Mondays are our shipping days for orders placed up to midnight Fridays. There's a good chance your order will ship more quickly than that. Feel free to reach out if you want a shipping time frame confirmed.
What if my parcel is lost or damaged in transit?
If you believe your parcel to be lost or damaged in transit, please request an investigation with the carrier. Send the details of this claim as well as any other supporting documents or photographs to admin @ melodybeckett.com so we can organize a replacement for you.
My parcel couldn't be delivered, now what?
If the address you provided cannot be delivered to then your parcel will be returned and you will need to pay for it to be re-shipped.
RETURNS
Do you offer refunds if I change my mind?
Refunds will not be provided for personalized products (i.e.: a signed book), as these have been customized for you and are unable to be re-sold. We do not offer refunds for ebook or audiobook sales.

What if my book arrives damaged?
We do not accept returns for minor damage such as a tiny scratch, but if your book arrives like it's gone through a black hole and been spat out with a bunch of Tribbles we will sort it out.
Here's what we cover:
- Torn or missing pages
- Errors in printing like missing text or upside down pages
- Significantly damaged covers
Here's what we do NOT cover:
- Small blemishes
- Damage from opening packages incorrectly (no box cutters please)
- Change of mind
To apply for a refund you will need to:
- Email admin @ melodybeckett.com within 7 days of receiving your package
- Send photos clearly showing the issue as well as a description
- Wait for a reply email with instructions on how to return your item
- Once received a refund or replacement will be issued
This is a one woman show and a small business. If a claim for a refund doesn't meet these criteria we reserve the right to refuse.
What about things other than books?
Our shop contains products sent by Melody directly as well as items that are print on demand. As print on demand items are made to order for you we are unable to accept returns.
If you think a product is faulty or damaged, email admin @ melodybeckett.com with clear pictures and a description of the issue and we will look into it.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS
How do I get my ebook?
Ebooks are delivered by BookFunnel. Once you have paid you will receive a link to download your book and read it on your device of choice.
The ebook will be available in your BookFunnel library associated with the email address used during checkout.
How do I get my audiobook?
Audiobooks are delivered by BookFunnel. Once you have paid you will receive a link to download your book to play it on your device of choice.
The audio file will be available in your BookFunnel library associated with the email address used during checkout.
And if you don't have an app to listen to audiobooks, you can use the free BookFunnel app.
Can I read your books on my kindle/kobo/nook/iPad?
Yes! And if you have any problems downloading your book, BookFunnel support will help you out (they're super lovely).
If you don't have an ereader, no worries! BookFunnel has a free app you can use to read your book on a phone, tablet or computer.
OTHER STUFF
Why should I buy directly from you?
Great question! Although you can buy my books from many retailers, if you want to get money into the hands of a woman-owned small business and not a billionaire, buying direct is a great way to do it.
If you buy from me directly I receive roughly 95c of every dollar you spend. If you buy from a retailer I receive anywhere from 30c to 70c of every dollar you spend (depending on the list price and the particular retailer).
